Good Morning Senior Academy

STUDENTS STAY UPDATED:

There will be a Lost and Found “Yard, NO Sale” in the Commons Area half circle from Tuesday, October 29th through Thursday, October 31st. This is a last attempt to get items back to their owners before donations. All unclaimed items will be donated at the end of the week. Students may come down to view items before school, at lunch and afterschool before carpool starts.

SENIORS: if you are interested in applying to any private universities in NC, check out https://ncicu.org/direct-admission/ for waived application fees and conditional direct admission. 

Driver Eligibility Forms: Please let Mrs. Campbell know if you need the Permit form. The requirements to receive this form are as follows  -  you have taken the class and completed your driving portion.  Please contact Mrs. Campbell at kcampbell@eastwakeacademy.org.

*SPIRIT WEEK DETAILS and DRESS CODE: " Your Student Council has heard your voice regarding Spirit Week and Homecoming. Fall Spirit Week will be from November 4th until November 8th, with a Pep Rally on Friday November 8th during 4th period. Your Fall Spirit Week Days are as follows:

- Monday November 4th: Pajama Day

- Tuesday November 5th: Dress Like a Teacher/ Dress Like a Student Swap Day

- Wednesday November 6th: Decade Day Versus

            - Freshman: 2000's

            - Sophomores: 80's

            - Juniors: 90's

            - Seniors: 70's

- Thursday November 7th: Disney Day

- Friday November 8th: Color Wars

            - Freshman: Pink

            - Sophomores: Blue

            - Juniors: Red

            - Seniors: Black

Your Homecoming Dance theme will be Golden Gala and will be on Friday November 15th from 8pm until Midnight in the High School. This is a semi formal event and students should be dressed to impressed. That means NO JEANS and NO HATS! Tickets will go on sale during Spirit Week. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

RE-ENROLLMENT - 11/4/2024 - 11/15/2024

Re-enrollment for RETURNING STUDENTS ONLY begins November 4, 2024 for the 2025/2026 school year.  A link will be sent out to all families via email when the Re-Enrollment period opens. Re- Enrollment Ends November 15, 2024 at noon. 

What you need :

  • The schoolmint link (This will go out Monday at 8 am, November 4th)

  • When you have the link, make an account

  • You need your Student ID handy (can be found on PowerSchool)

  • First and last name 

  • Students date of birth  

The re-enrollment will automatically close on November 15th at noon.  If you do not submit your re-enrollment for the 25/26 school year by the deadline of November 15th at noon, you will lose your seat and have to apply in January for the lottery.  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Campbell at kcampbell@eastwakeacademy.org.

NAHS will be selling painted rock art at lunch this week at the half circle. Bring cash and support the arts!

Spanish Club will be selling candy bags today at lunch for $3. Please support our club with a tasty treat!”

Attention FBLA members - our Regional Competition is just around the corner on Saturday December 14 at Cary High School.  All Study Materials for regional tests have been sent out.  Please check your email and google classroom to make sure you have everything you need.  We will meet on Friday November 1st at lunch in Warren's room to schedule testing and review the conference details!
