*SPIRIT WEEK DETAILS and DRESS CODE: " Your Student Council has heard your voice regarding Spirit Week and Homecoming. Fall Spirit Week will be from November 4th until November 8th, with a Pep Rally on Friday November 8th during 4th period. Your Fall Spirit Week Days are as follows:
- Tuesday November 5th: Dress Like a Teacher/ Dress Like a Student Swap Day
- Wednesday November 6th: Decade Day Versus
- Freshman: 2000's
- Sophomores: 80's
- Juniors: 90's
- Seniors: 70's
- Thursday November 7th: Disney Day
- Friday November 8th: PEP Rally Schedule - Food trucks for lunch, and PEP Rally Color Wars
- Freshman: Pink
- Sophomores: Blue
- Juniors: Red
- Seniors: Black
Your Homecoming Dance theme will be Golden Gala and will be on Friday November 15th from 8pm until Midnight in the High School. This is a semi formal event and students should be dressed to impressed. That means NO JEANS and NO HATS! Tickets will go on sale during Spirit Week. More information to come soon. November 6th - NHS Annual Powder Puff Game "NHS Annual Powder Puff game will be on Wednesday, November 6th from 6-8 pm. Girls will play flag football and boys will cheer. Sign up to participate through the QR codes posted around the school. It is $20 to participate that will include a t-shirt or $10 to participate without receiving a t-shirt. This can be paid through MySchoolBucks or cash payment to Mrs. Nettles or Ms. Haynes. Last day to sign up is November 30th to receive a t-shirt. You can still participate if you sign up after the 29th, but you will need to have your own t-shirt to match the team colors. If you have any questions reach out to Weston Dixon, Ms. Haynes or Mrs. Nettles
SENIORS: if you are interested in applying to any private universities in NC, check out https://ncicu.org/direct-admission/ for waived application fees and conditional direct admission.
Driver Eligibility Forms: Please let Mrs. Campbell know if you need the Permit form. The requirements to receive this form are as follows - you have taken the class and completed your driving portion. Please contact Mrs. Campbell at kcampbell@eastwakeacademy.org.

RE-ENROLLMENT - 11/4/2024 - 11/15/2024
Re-enrollment for RETURNING STUDENTS ONLY begins November 4, 2024 for the 2025/2026 school year.
What you need :
The schoolmint link (This will go out Monday at 8 am, November 4th)
When you have the link, make an account
You need your Student ID handy (can be found on PowerSchool)
First and last name
Students date of birth
The re-enrollment will automatically close on November 15th at noon. If you do not submit your re-enrollment for the 25/26 school year by the deadline of November 15th at noon, you will lose your seat and have to apply in January for the lottery. CLUBS:
Attention FBLA members - our Regional Competition is just around the corner on Saturday December 14 at Cary High School. All Study Materials for regional tests have been sent out. Please check your email and google classroom to make sure you have everything you need.
NAHS will have an all members meeting this Wednesday, November 6th at lunch.
This Tuesday the 5th there will be an Art and Design Club meeting in Mrs. Wade’s room. We will begin a Bob Ross tutorial so please attend!
