Middle Academy Announcements
Emergency Lunches and Snacks Needed
There will NOT be a MASC lunch meeting TODAY.
There will be a MASC workday on Thursday from 3:45-5:15. All members should plan to attend. Please email Ms. Berry or Ms. Strickland if you cannot attend.
MASC club pictures will take place TODAY at 12:00 in the Dining hall. Members need to remember to attend or you will not be in the yearbook.
The fall dance concert is Thursday, November 21st at 7 PM at Louisburg College. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $5 for students, and free for staff and children under the age of four. Please come out and support your EWA middle, high school, and Mini Dance Ensemble dancers.
This Thursday, November 14th, is our Athletic Boosters DDD. Students can bring $4 Thursday morning to dress down. Teachers will not be able to make change, so any amount given over $4 will be considered a donation. As a reminder, this DDD is NOT included on the year-long dress down pass. All money raised will go towards uniform upgrades. Thank you for supporting EWA Athletics!
Lost and Found Gym lost and found will be in a container in the dining hall. Building 5/WINGS lost items will be in a container at the desk by the front entrance. Items lost in the main building will be located right outside the office. Students can come down BEFORE SCHOOL/HOMEROOM or DURING LUNCH. All unclaimed items will be donated at the end of each month.
Drop and Pick Up
No students are to be dropped off or picked up at building 5. Any student reported will receive disciplinary action.
When arriving for AA pickup in the afternoons, please arrive @3:45 and stay in the right lane closest to the building ONLY.

Re-Enrollment Link
Re-enrollment for RETURNING STUDENTS ONLY began November 4th for the 2025/2026 school year.
Re- Enrollment Ends November 15, 2024 at noon.

The re-enrollment will automatically close on November 15th at noon. If you do not submit your re-enrollment for the 25/26 school year by the deadline of November 15th at noon, you will lose your seat and have to apply in January for the lottery. If you have any questions or need your students id, please contact Mrs. Campbell at kcampbell@eastwakeacademy.org. More information to come regarding siblings applying for the 25/26 school year.
Please do not drop off students on campus in the morning before carpool. If you need to drop off earlier than 7:40, please utilize the morning WINGS service.
Middle School carpool in the afternoon does not begin until 3:15. If you arrive earlier you will be asked to go to the back of the line. Students are in class until their release time of 3:15.
Students, during carpool you are to be seated in your classroom watching the screen for your carpool number to come up. Students are not to be in the hallways, standing up within the classroom, but waiting for your number to be displayed. Parents are not to arrive before 3:20. Students are to only be dismissed by your teacher to head to carpool when you both see your number come up. Any students seen at carpool without permission or prior to release time will face disciplinary action. Thank you for following the rules that have been in place for your safety.
Middle Academy Sports
When athletes have away games please initial the roster located outside of the Middle School entrance. Do NOT enter the Middle School office unless checking out another student that is not playing sports.
When there is a home game, students need to be picked up during carpool and brought back to school for the game. Students may not linger after school.
Students are NOT to leave for sports while in transition to the next class. They may exit at the time of dismissal for that game day.
