The Art, Language, and Elective Departments are hosting our annual Inspire event March 6th! T-shirt and crewneck sales have started and will close on February 12th, next Friday so buy your shirt now! Qr codes are around the building and a link will be included in the morning announcements.

Career and College Promise at Nash Community College is  hosting information sessions in February for interested students and families. 

Lost and Found: High school lost items can be found in the plastic tote right outside the HS office.  Students can come down BEFORE and AFTER SCHOOL or DURING LUNCH. All unclaimed items in the High School will be donated after January 31st. Gym lost and found will be in a container in the dining hall. Building 5/WINGS lost items will be in a container at the desk by the front entrance.  Items lost in the main building will be located right outside the office. 

SENIORS: If you have received a College/University/Military acceptance letter and/or scholarship(s) email Mrs. Ray at dray@eastwakeacademy.org. If you want your accomplishments noted in the HS announcements specify that you would like it added. If not, the information will stay only with the Senior Class Records.

LOTTERY:

Lottery Application 2025/2026:

The lottery application is for SIBLINGS of current EWA students and prospective new students for the 2025/2026 school year. 

When: The lottery application started on January 13, 2025 at 8 am and ends February 10, 2025 at noon. 

What you need: The SCHOOLMINT link Schoolmint link (link will not be active until date and time above)

The link is also posted on our webpage at eastwakeacademy.org.

 Make an account:

If you re-enrolled your current  EWA student through Schoolmint, then login using your same username and password and begin the lottery application for siblings.

If you are NEW, please click the link and follow the prompts to make an account.

The lottery application will automatically close on February 10th at noon.  If you do not submit your lottery application for the 25/26 school year by the deadline of February 10th at noon, you will not be included in the lottery on March 5th.   If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact Mrs. Campbell at kcampbell@eastwakeacademy.org.

CLUBS:

"Spanish Club will have a meeting in Mrs. Jones's room during lunch on Monday, February 2. We hope to see you there!"

NAHS will have an all member meeting February 5th in Mrs. Wade's room at lunch.

Unity Club meets the first and third Thursday of each month, and we would love to see more of you there! We hope you’ll come check it out and get involved. Unity Club will be pre-selling ‘Valentine's Candy Grams’ the week of January 27th at lunch. Take this opportunity to pre-order a goody bag of Valentine's candy for a friend. The candy grams will be delivered on February 13th. 

First priority meets every Thursday. Hope to see you there:)

The Cancer Awareness Club is now accepting interest forms for the senior scholarship. Any senior who has battled cancer him/herself or whose family member has battled cancer is eligible. See the flyers posted around the school or Mrs. Lane for more information. All interest forms are due by January 31st. 

Attention Book Club! We will meet Friday, February 7, at lunch to discuss Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine. Bring your lunch and get ready to chat!

FBLA will meet the following Fridays in February (7th and 21st). See Mrs. Warren if you have any questions!
