Middle Academy Announcements

We LOVE our BT teachers here at EWA!

Each day we will be giving a SHOUT OUT to one of our BT teachers here in Middle Academy. We want to thank you for your hard work and taking on each task with pride. There is no way we would be able to survive without you and your dedication to our environment! We just want you to know that we appreciate you. Even though we have all started where you are…we want to assure you that having a positive role in a child’s life is well worth the ride, so keep going!

Today’s BT SHOUTOUTS go to Mrs. Watt and Mrs. Williams! Mrs. Watt is not new to EWA, but a newbie to Middle Academy and we love having her! She teaches our Foods class along with Agriculture and Domestic Arts . If you get to make a baby out of sugar or even measure some ingredients for baking, you have officially had the Watt experience. So if you're looking for a good adventure or some good eats, she is the teacher with the treats!

Mrs. Williams teaches Business and Life & Learning in the 21st Century. She helps you navigate through things that may come your way in life while always having a smile! She also spearheads our First Priority club, which let’s students get together and share core religious values they believe in. We are so glad to have such a teacher as Mrs. Williams. She really does have a heart of gold!

Raize Craze Update: we have raised $7,185 along with over 300 acts of kindness!

There will be an interest meeting for any 6th-8th grader wishing to try out for the middle school softball team at 12:00 TODAY in the dining hall.

Jr Dance Ensemble Auditions for the 2025-2026 school year is March 27th, this is after track out. There will be an interest meeting on Thursday, February 20th in Spirit Hall during lunch. You need to attend the interest meeting to receive your audition packet in order to audition. Please email Miss Ludlum with any other questions.

Lost and Found 

Gym lost and found will be in a container in the dining hall. Building 5/WINGS lost items will be in a container at the desk by the front entrance.  Items lost in the main building will be located right outside the office. Students can come down BEFORE SCHOOL/HOMEROOM or DURING LUNCH. All unclaimed items will be donated at the end of each month.

Drop and Pick Up

No students are to be dropped off or picked up at building 5. Any student reported will receive disciplinary action.

When arriving for AA pickup in the afternoons, please arrive @3:45 and stay in the right lane closest to the building ONLY. 

Middle Academy Events

Please do not drop off students on campus in the morning before carpool. If you need to drop off earlier than 7:40, please utilize the morning WINGS service.

Middle School carpool in the afternoon does not begin until 3:15. If you arrive earlier you will be asked to go to the back of the line. Students are in class until their release time of 3:15.

Students, during carpool you are to be seated in your classroom watching the screen for your carpool number to come up. Students are not to be in the hallways, standing up within the classroom, but waiting for your number to be displayed. Parents are not to arrive before 3:20. Students are to only be dismissed by your teacher to head to carpool when you both see your number come up. Any students seen at carpool without permission or prior to release time will face disciplinary action. Thank you for following the rules that have been in place for your safety. 

Middle Academy Sports

When athletes have away games please initial the roster located outside of the Middle School entrance.  Do NOT enter the Middle School office unless checking out another student that is not playing sports.

When there is a home game, students need to be picked up during carpool and brought back to school for the game.  Students may not linger after school.

Students are NOT to leave for sports while in transition to the next class.  They may exit at the time of dismissal for that game day.
