Middle Academy Announcements
The Scholastic Book Fair is back on campus from Thursday, April 21st through Friday, April 29th in Building 4 Media Center. Mrs. Barnhill has reserved before school for Middle School students, but you MUST get permission from your teacher prior to coming. You may also come during your lunchtime. This is only open to students!
There is also an online fair that runs from Wednesday, April 20th through Tuesday, May 3rd. Our Book Fair offers a cash-free payment option called eWallet. It’s a convenient digital account that your child can use for shopping at our Fair. Grandparents, friends, and others can contribute, too! Visit our Book Fair homepage to learn more and get started with eWallet and online shopping.

SPOTLIGHT ON Middle Academy Staff
This week’s staff spotlights are Mrs. Newton, Ms. Ludlum, and
Mrs. Thomas
Mrs. Newton is our 7th grade math teacher. She received her education through Barton College, NC State, and Liberty University. Her favorite snacks are Gardettos, Kit Kats, and oranges. She enjoys shopping at Target and eating at ANY sushi place, but what she cherishes the most is playing outside with her children.
Ms. Ludlum is our Middle Academy dance teacher. She graduated from Meredith College and really loves being able to share her talents with the students here. Her favorite snacks are pop corn, M&Ms, and strawberries. Her favorite place to shop is Target. She also enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and her dog.
Mrs. Thomas is our EC self contained classroom instructional assistant. The students love to be around and interact with her. Her favorite snacks are Slim Jims and plain Lays potato chips. Her favorite places are Wal-Mart to shop and Texas Roadhouse to eat. She loves going to church and spending time with her 5 brothers and 5 sisters.
Please congratulate this phenomenal group of faculty for being a Spotlight on campus!!
