STUDENTS STAY UPDATED:
SENIORS –
- There will be an important senior meeting this Thursday beginning at 11:00 for all seniors. SENIORS – SMARTBLOCK signup for “EAGLE HALL” room 100 for this Thursday meeting
- Please stop by during the day and see Mrs. Campbell August 31st, September 1st or September 2nd to make sure your names are correct for your Diploma and to see who is eligible for Eagle Society. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Campbell at kcampbell@eastwakeacademy.org.
JUNIORS –
- Jostens will be here TODAY on August 25th 11:10 to 11:40 to discuss Class Rings in Eagle Hall - SMARTBLOCK signup for “EAGLE HALL” room 100 for this Wednesday meeting.
DRESS DOWN DAY is THIS Thursday, August 26th! A couple of things to remember:
- You must comply to the non-uniform dress code under the Dress Down dress code section in the school handbook--this information can be found on the school's website at eastwakeacademy.org.
- If you DID NOT buy an annual pass and your child wants to participate; send $4(cash or check made to: EWAPAL) with EACH child in a sealed envelope with the child's name and homeroom teacher's name on it. This can be done on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

CLUBS:
"Student Council Applicants who have applied for a Class President or Student Body Position, please remember to have your speeches submitted to Mr. Raynor for review by TODAY Wednesday August 25th. Speeches will be given Friday August 27th during the last half of 4th Period to the entire Student Body. See Mr. Raynor for any questions"
FBLA will hold their 1st member meeting this Friday August 27 at lunch in the Baker Center. Be sure to pay your $25 membership fee at myschoolbucks.com AS WELL AS fill out the google form. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs Warren!
Would you like to positively impact the environment around us and the people we are with? Just need to talk or make a friend? Come join us for our first Diversity Club meeting. We want to offer a space where you are welcomed and accepted. Attend our meeting on Monday, during lunch in the Baker Center, and help us make a difference!
STUDENT TRIPS: EWA will be hosting an online information session via zoom on September 9th at 6:30 PM for our England 2022 and Peru 2023 student trips. We are excited to continue planning for these trips again and continue our partnership with EF Tours.
