Ms. Pridgen's 1st grade class ended their week on Arctic animals by experimenting with blubber! They stuck their bare hands in ice water and then they stuck their blubber covered hands in ice water. They found out that the blubber on certain animals really does keep them warm in icy habitats!
Ms. Pridgen’s 1st grade class ended the week with a fun activity after learning all about Martin Luther King Jr. The students signed and added their thumbprints to a famous MLK quote. They loved learning about ways to love one another and to be accepting of everyone regardless of their gender or ethnicity.
