Reminder: if there is lightning during carpool, everything will STOP and staff and students will be confined inside the building until the weather is safe to continue.

Mary Fowler & Lisa Davis -
Ms. Daniels - 2nd grade - We are learning about Ancient China and Chinese culture in ELA. The students have been engaging in “Magic Treehouse: Day of the Dragon King” and have recently started “D is for Dancing Dragon.”
Today in our Chinese alphabet book, we read “C is for Chopsticks.” Students were able to practice using chopsticks while enjoying some popcorn!
3rd Graders planting zinnia seeds! Thanks to the parents that sent in supplies!
4th grade students created the moon phases out of Oreo cookies!
K-4th Field Day is Wednesday May 24th and we need volunteers to help make the day successful! Please sign up to help!

7th grade science did a lab where they extracted DNA from strawberries!
Ms. Lewis' class did a worm vs gummy worm activity. Then they released the worm to our butterfly garden. The students know this will help aerate the garden.

Mrs. Broadwell's Honors Anatomy and Physiology Class wrote children's books on the digestive system and read them to some of the K-4 classes today!
Mrs. Morgan's Middle School Agriculture, Family and Consumer Science class learned about incubation and hatched baby chicks!
2nd Grade students have been learning about the United States geography. The students were assigned to a different U.S. State in which they did in-class research on. They gathered all of their information and created a display using a shoebox or poster board to teach their classmates about their selected state. After in-class presentations, we invited first graders to come see their creations!
