The mobile dentist is returning to EWA. The team will be here on 10/21- 10/25. Below is the online consent to sign up. This must be completed for your student to be seen. Please sign up as soon as possible so that we can plan for the day.

Fall pictures have arrived and will be sent home this week. If you ordered and paid for a package you will receive that. If you did not order, there will be information on how you can still order. All pictures ordered now will be shipped to your home and you will be charged a small shipping fee.
Retake/Make Up pictures are next Wednesday 10/16. Please let your child's homeroom teacher know if you need them retaken or if they were absent on the original picture day 8/28.

We couldn't wait to share out some exciting news.....We exceeded our Boosterthon Fundraiser Goal!! Thank you so much for all the parents, grandparents, friends, neighbors, coworkers, extended family, etc. that helped make this possible. As a reminder all of these funds will go towards a new gym floor! As a reward for reaching this goal, all K-8 students will get a FREE DRESS DOWN DAY! (date TBD).
EWA Athletics Annual Golf Tournament is Thursday October 24th!!!

Unfortunately we did not receive the fall pictures/proofs before track out. However, if you have not already ordered you can do that at any time online at strawbridge.net. You will need your child's student ID number (this can be found in Powerschool if you don't know it).
Foods class is popping their way to track out! After finishing a unit on measurement students made their own popcorn seasonings!

The college fair today was great! Our students had the opportunity to engage with representatives from various colleges and gain valuable insights into the diverse programs available.
Last week, we held our fall National Honor Society induction, welcoming 27 new members. We were honored to have alumna Miss Hillary McCullough, '18, as our speaker at the event.

National IT Professionals Day is celebrated on the third Tuesday of September each year. The day recognizes the vital role that IT professionals play in keeping networks and applications running, and in ensuring that operating systems run smoothly. This team works behind the scenes and parents probably have never seen them, but EWA could not survive without our IT Department and we appreciate them today and everyday!
Parents are welcome to join us on Friday for the Fun Run and Color Run!

Thanks to EWA Board Member and Zebulon Fire Chief, Wayne Dupree for coming out today to talk to the 1st graders about fire safety, explain what a fireman does and show them his truck. This concluded their lesson on community helpers.
